Design service: Bathroom renovation plans, Custom vanity and shelves plans, recommendations for all finishes and materials as well as tiles, lighting, sink, mirror and accessories.
Materials used: Schluter Ditra-Heated Floor, Uniboard veneer custom cabinetry finishes, Quartz countertop, Sherwin Williams paint, Black iron and gold finish ceiling fixture, Black iron wall sconce, porcelain round vessel sink, Polished nickel Riobel faucet and bath and shower fixtures, 12’’ x 24’’ porcelain terrazzo floor tile, variations of turquoise 4’’ x 4’’ hand-pressed glazed Zellige wall tiles, recessed medicine cabinet.
Our mandate: The clients wanted a whimsical and colourful bathroom with a lot of function and warmth. There was no room for an expansion, so we worked within the same footprint.
We designed a custom vanity and floating shelves, recommended a deep soaker tub, all the tiles, plumbing, decoration, colour palette and finishes as well as the lighting. The floors are heated for greater comfort. The grey and white floor tile is neutral enough to offset the variations of blue and turquoise on the walls. Although this bathroom is full of personality, it still feels brighter and more spacious.
