Materials used: Schluter Ditra-Heated Floor, Uniboard veneer custom cabinetry finishes, Quartz countertop, Sherwin Williams paint, Black iron ceiling fixture, Black iron wall sconces, porcelain round vessel sinks, Polished nickel wall-mounted Riobel faucets and bath and shower fixtures, Acrylic oval free-standing bath, 24’’ x 24’’ porcelain floor tile, Variations of black 2’’ x 8’’ hand-pressed and glazed Zelligege wall and shower tiles, arched black iron mirrors.
Our mandate: The clients wanted a dramatic bathroom with a lot of function and warmth. The first thing we changed was the bathroom door (always in the way) to a practical hide-away pocket door. We recommended a free- standing bath and an extra long walk-in curb-less glass shower. We designed a custom wall-mounted vanity, floating shelves and the wall cabinet, recommended all the tiles, plumbing, decoration, colour palette and finishes as well as the lighting. The floors are heated for greater comfort.
