Design service: Bathroom renovation plans, custom vanity design plans, recommendations for finishes and materials, full project management.
Materials used: A traditional custom-made wood vanity, porcelain drop-in sink, Toile de Jouy wallpaper in blue and white, heated oak wood floor, polished nickel plumbing fixture, antique arched iron mirror, classic French Country chandelier.
Our mandate: The clients desired a traditional French Country powder room on the main floor. We designed the traditional vanity and had our cabinet maker create this beautiful piece of furniture out of solid wood. The client also asked for a hide-away area for the cat litter box, so we built in the wall a niche and had curtains custom-made with the same Toile de Jouy wallpaper pattern for a seamless look. At the time of this photograph, the custom curtain for the cat litter niche had not been installed. A calming palette of blue and white with the custom vanity and antique mirrors creates a cozy bathroom full of character and charm.
